Welcome to Quincy University!

 

You will be hearing those words often over the next couple of months and the first few weeks you are here in August. We are so excited that you have chosen QU for your next academic journey and hope that you are feeling the excitement and anticipation as well. You are about to experience one of the most exciting times in your life, and we are thrilled you are joining our campus community.

 

The Office of Student Development is working hard to prepare for your arrival in just a few short months. August 15, 2022, is the official check-in/move-in day for all new students. Members of the Quincy University Marching Band and fall athletics will have an earlier check-in/move-in day which will be communicated to you by your coach or band director.

 

One of the most memorable experiences for Quincy University students is New Student Orientation, as it is filled with so many QU traditions. Orientation is designed to help you transition to college life, academically, personally, and socially and this is where you will learn what it means to be a Hawk!

 

Orientation for all new students will begin on August 15, 2022, and last the entire week. We are currently working on an orientation schedule for you and will be sharing that as soon as all the details are finalized! The website will become an essential resource for you and your family, including checking your QU email.
