Due to the cancellation of SAT and ACT test administrations around the world, Quincy University will become test optional for students who are unable to take a standardized test due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Students who cannot complete an SAT or ACT test will be considered for admission and for academic scholarships at Quincy University. You will not be disadvantaged in any way if you do not have a SAT or ACT score.
Quincy University is committed to helping prospective students and their families any way we can during this time of global uncertainty. We hope this action eliminates some of the stress you are feeling about the college search process.
The Admissions staff also recognizes that, with high school closures, you may have difficulty having a transcript sent to our office. If this is the case for you, please feel free to send unofficial copies or a screenshot of your high school transcript/cumulative GPA for review. In addition, students will send a 500-word writing sample using a Quincy University-provided prompt.
Or, apply the old-fashioned way with one of our application forms.
